French Run 2026 – Registration Is Now Open!
Join the 3rd edition of the French Run in Edmonton! Choose a 5 km or 10 km run/walk and enjoy a fun, inclusive celebration of Francophone culture along the river valley.
Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM, starting from Louise McKinney Riverfront Park.
Un barrage contre le pacifique
A powerful and poetic French-language play adapted from Marguerite Duras’ novel. Set in 1930s
Indochina, it tells the story of a courageous mother fighting the sea to protect her land and family.
March 26 at 7:00 PM, at the Théâtre de la Cité Francophone. The play will be performed in French with
English surtitles, making it accessible to all audiences.

Join us on Friday, February 6, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM to celebrate Candlemas with us and enjoy delicious French crêpes!
