Un barrage contre le pacifique
A powerful and poetic French-language play adapted from Marguerite Duras’ novel. Set in 1930s
Indochina, it tells the story of a courageous mother fighting the sea to protect her land and family.
March 26 at 7:00 PM, at the Théâtre de la Cité Francophone. The play will be performed in French with
English surtitles, making it accessible to all audiences.
Film of the month: Doux Jésus
Don’t miss the Film of the Month in March, Doux Jésus,
screened on Saturday, April 11 at 6 PM at Landmark Cinemas 9 Edmonton City Centre, in collaboration with Cinémagine Alberta.
