DELF Prim

The DELF Prim exam is a French proficiency test developed by the French Ministry of Education, internationally recognized and valid for life. It is designed to assess the communicative skills of a candidate in a real-life situation, using authentic documents, rather than the linguistic and formal grammatical knowledge.

Four skills are evaluated through two examinations: Collective examination (listening, reading, writing) and Individual examination (speaking).

Structure

The DELF Prim is a specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for children who are beginners in French and who are of primary school age. For more information about the DELF exams, visit the CIEP website.
